Have a look at our Premier Women perform in the league!

As every year it was great fun and Volleyball at a good level. The 24th edition of this long lasting institution in Irish Volleyball brought together the best of the Northern and the Southern teams. 70ies was the motto of the legendary fancy dress night on Saturday, which guaranteed a good laugh and some very creative costumes.

But best of all BMP was very successful in the Women’s section where the girls did an outstanding job to win the tournament. The men were not quite as good, but still came Second in the Plate. All in all a great weekend!

We’re happy to announce that two of the best performing teams of last season – Ballymun Patriots and the White Eagles Volleyball Club – have merged and will represent our club with joint Men’s teams in the coming season 2011/12.

White Eagles club was founded in 2005 when group of volleyball fans decided to do something serious and started semipro volleyball team. For the past 5 years the whole club was working rather on the social level than on the professional one. It was nice break from work where people could meet friends and play volleyball. The season 2010/11 marked the high point for the club when their 1st Division team won the League and therefore the promotion into the Premier32 teams.

We’re very happy that the club approached Ballymun Patriots in order to work together and we can now present a very strong Ballymun Patriots Premier32 team with every ambition to win the Irish Championship in the coming season. Furthermore there will be 2 Ballymun Patriots teams in the 1st Division equally as ambitious to win the promotion into Premier League.

Congratulations to the premier men who beat UCD today 3-1 in the association cup. Pictures coming soon

Congrats to the Premier Men who beat Aer lingus 3-1 in their recent Cup semi-final.
They will now play UCD in Ucd on the 7th of May at 1pm. See you there.
